This is as close as I got to the Dome of the Rock, a really holy mosque of Islam. This is where Muhammad ascended into heaven with the aid of the angel Gabriel. Ramadan began this week, so entry was very selective. For some reason I didn't get through. Go figure. (In the photo the mosque is beyond the tunnel.)
