Belgrade Restaurant and Beer Fest

8/12/09 Belgrade, Serbia
Lauren suggested the cutest Serbian-style restaurant from our tourbook - it was fabulous. It's called "?" because it was built across from a cathedral that the restaurant owner wanted to use the name of. Church got mad, owner refused to name the restaurant anything else, so now it is just "?." We sat outside on the back patio with a view o the cathedral and ate delicious Serbian food. I had a Serbian salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and feta cheese) and kebab while my friends had beef goulash.

Late that night we decided to walk to the famous "Belgrade Beer Fest" (Cameron, you would have loved it.) It was in the New Belgrade part of town, and man was it the place to be. It was packed! We tried the Serbian national beer and then hightailed it out of there - too many (drunk) people.
